Reflection on Host Family

Living with the Reebs has been a blessing. Their generosity to me has been sweet and distinctly different from anything I have ever experienced. I have loved the life and joy that their two daughters, Linley (6) and Parks (4) bring, whether it is playing the guitar with them and making up songs or hearing their laughter from the kitchen in the mornings when I am getting ready for work. Shanna and Carter have been so open with me about their relationship and parenthood, and it has been beautiful and unique to have insight into what I want for my life one day. It is nice to have moved from an idea in my head to a real example of a flourishing family life that the Lord has clearly blessed.
